Job summary

TPF Recruitment Ltd is assisting a Poole-based chartered accountant with the search for an Accounts & Audit Senior. The role spans accounts, audit and tax within a general practice, with scope to tailor duties to experience and career goals.

The position involves around 20% audit work and opportunities to engage with owner-managed businesses ranging from £10m to £50m turnover. Reporting to the Accounts and Audit Manager, you will review year-end accounts and lead audits, mentoring junior staff

Qualifications

• ACA / ACCA Qualified, or part-qualified.
• Highly organised and capable of managing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support a varied portfolio of client accounts across accounts, audit and tax.
• Review year-end accounts prepared by junior staff and lead audits from planning to completion.
• Provide accountancy and taxation advice and support to clients as necessary.
• Mentor colleagues and help develop the team’s skills and delivery quality.
• Contribute to growing the firm by retaining clients and engaging with prospective clients.
