The opportunity

As an Assistant at Azets, you will have the ability and motivation needed to:

  • Perform basic compliance tasks to a high standard
  • Prepare computations for review by senior staff
  • Work within your own chargeable time budget


Day to day duties

  • Produce annual statutory accounts and record keeping for a number of clients
  • Offer advice on best practices and recommendations for partner review
  • Provide support to your clients from an accounting perspective
  • Communicate with HMRC
  • Involve in basic compliance, taking more responsibility for sections of the job
  • Have some responsibility for a basic portfolio
  • May include VAT/payroll preparation
  • Work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Assist in reasonable administrative tasks
  • Ensure your work aligns with the four Group values and the overall people strategy
  • Aware of expected utilisation % budgets and work towards delivering this
