Job summary

BYD Leeds is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our accounts team in Leeds. The role focuses on supporting day-to-day accounting operations and maintaining accurate financial records within a dealership environment.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in accounting and finance, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work proactively with minimal supervision. Motor trade experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in accounting and finance, and be willing to learn and develop their skills.
• Accounts experience is essential and motor trade experience is beneficial.
• The selected candidate will support the day-to-day operations of the accounts team.

Responsibilities

• Keeping financial records updated and accurate.
• Preparing reports and reconciling bank statements.
• Dealing with queries.
• Ad hoc accounting tasks.
• Supporting the accounts team to allow efficient operations.
