Job Description:

Our client, an award-winning interior design consultancy, is seeking a Accounts Assistant to join their team in Windsor, Berkshire.

To apply for this role, you’ll need experience with accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks.

This brand-new opportunity involves working within the finance department to assist in adhering to processes, controls, and systems within the business.

As Accounts Assistant, your tasks include:

  • Managing accounts receivable and credit control, including chasing debtors and supplier queries
  • Processing and logging purchase and sales invoices in Sage
  • Performing daily bank reconciliations and monthly supplier statement reconciliations
  • Supporting monthly management reporting and end-of-month processes
  • Assisting Contract Managers with CVR updates
  • Managing expenses, VAT calculations, and weekly payment runs
  • Acting as point of contact for external auditors during the annual audit
  • Assisting with finance process improvements and efficiencies
  • Providing cover for the Accounts Assistant
  • Filing invoices and statements
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks is essential
