Our client is seeking an Accounts Assistant to provide crucial support during a key phase of transformation. As Accounts Assistant, you will…

Support the day-to-day finance operations including purchase ledger, sales ledger, and bank reconciliations

Assist with processing invoices, expenses, and supplier payments accurately and on time

Help with month-end tasks such as journals, accruals, and prepayments

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with internal controls

Support the finance team with cash flow monitoring and reporting

Liaise with internal departments and suppliers to resolve queries and ensure smooth processes

Contribute to improving finance processes and identifying efficiencies

To succeed as Accounts Assistant, you’ll need…

Experience in an accounts assistant or transactional finance role, ideally within a fast-paced or professional services environment

A good understanding of financial processes and accounting systems

A proactive, hands-on attitude with strong attention to detail

Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems (e.g. Sage, SAP, Dynamics, or similar)

Strong communication skills and a team player mindset
