Your company is a logistics company based in Doncaster, who are seeking the support of a temporary Accounts Assistant for a couple of months. The role will mainly be a ‘hands-on’ approach to the day-to-day transactions within the finance department.
Your new role
The role will report into the Finance leadership of the company and will provide support with purchase invoices, processing payment runs, reconciling supplier statements, resolving queries, and chasing aged debt. There will be an element of input into the month-end journals, accruals, and prepayments. Lastly, there will be a light touch on payroll.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will be immediately available and have previous experience within an Accounts support / Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant role. You should have SAGE knowledge, but any major finance systems knowledge is a benefit. An AAT qualification, or working towards it, would be useful.
