Job Title: Semi Senior Accountant
Location: Central Middlesbrough
Our clients are a Chartered Accountancy based in central Middlesbrough. They provide a comprehensive accounting and business advisory service to a portfolio of clients across a wide range of different industries and sectors.
Overview:
Our clients are looking to add a Semi-Senior Accountant to their team.
The main tasks and responsibilities of the role include:
•Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and charities
•Drafting corporation tax computations
•Preparation of VAT returns and bookkeeping
•Preparation of management accounts
•Assistance with tax return preparation
•Liaising with clients as appropriate
Requirements:
•Minimum of 3+ years experience in General Practice
•You may be AAT qualified/part qualified or studying, or have developed a career entirely through experience
•Good working knowledge of producing accounts for limited companies
•With a background working in the accountancy practice sector.
•Support is on offer for those pursuing further qualifications.
•Comfortable working as part of a team or independently, you will be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) with knowledge and experience of accounting software.
•Strong organisation and time management skills, coupled with a solution focused and a positive “can do” attitude are also pre-requisites for the role.
