Sureserve Compliance Fire, part of the Sureserve Group, is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our busy finance team in Horsham. You will manage day-to-day ledger entries, sales ledger and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely cash collection across the business.

This office-based role offers hybrid working and a structured onboarding, with opportunities to drive process improvements, participate in monthly reporting and collaborate with operational teams.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with sales ledger activities and accounts receivable.
• Strong Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, data analysis and reconciliations.
• Able to work accurately under month-end timescales and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Daily cash postings, reconciliations and cash allocations.
• Posting journals to G/L including revenue and other day-to-day entries.
• Ownership of monthly revenue reporting and journals.
• Monthly project accounting and gross margin analysis & journals.
• Lead the weekly debtor meeting and chase outstanding debt.
• Prepare 13-week cash flow forecast and VAT returns.
• Set-up new customers in Business Central.
• Support continuous improvement of processes with automation/AI opportunities.
• Process bank payments and accounts payable invoices.
