Butler Rose is seeking an Accounts Assistant for our Chorley-based office. You will join a busy finance function handling a range of transactional duties, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across invoicing, payments, and payroll data entry.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and good communication within the team. Sage experience is a plus in this office-based position.

Qualifications

• Experience as Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or Purchase Ledger Clerk.
• Experience using Sage would be a benefit.
• Role is transactional and not intended for immediate progression.

Responsabilités

• Support a busy finance function in a varied transactional role.
• Process supplier invoices accurately and prepare payment runs.
• Raise customer sales invoices to support cash flow.
• Reconcile credit card payments, staff expenses and petty cash.
• Input data for payroll to ensure on-time pay.
