Ramage Transport Ltd is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team in a full-time, permanent role. The position involves handling purchase and sales ledgers, payments, and bank reconciliations, working with the Company Accountant in a busy accounts function.

The ideal candidate will have practical Sage Line 50 experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage workload with accuracy and timeliness. Experience in transport or logistics is helpful but not essential.

Qualificações

• Experience as Accounts Assistant or similar role.
• Proficient with Sage Line 50 and MS Excel.
• Attention to detail and ability to organise workload to deadlines.
• AAT studies welcomed, practical experience prioritised.

Responsabilidades

• Processing purchase and sales invoices.
• Maintaining supplier and customer accounts.
• Preparing supplier payments and allocating customer receipts.
• Bank reconciliations and resolving routine accounts queries.
• Following up outstanding customer payments.
• Processing expenses and maintaining accurate accounts records.
• Providing support with month-end tasks and general accounts administration.
