Job summary

Hyra is seeking an Accounts Assistant on the outskirts of Colchester, available on a full-time or part-time basis. The role is initially temporary for 3 months, with the potential to become permanent. Pay is negotiable depending on experience. You will support day-to-day accounts, process invoices and assist with ledgers using Sage.

Prospective candidates should have prior accounts experience, strong attention to detail, and be able to drive due to commutable access limitations.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accounts/finance role
• Good all-round knowledge of accounts processes
• Sage 50 experience is essential; Sage 200 experience would be advantageous
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Candidate must be able to drive, as the company location is not easily accessible by public transport

Responsibilities

• Supporting with day-to-day accounts duties
• Processing invoices, payments and general financial transactions
• Assisting with purchase and sales ledger
• Maintaining accurate financial records and data
• Using Sage to support general accounts administration
