Job description

Overview

The role is based in our modern office in Bristol. The purpose of this role is to assist with the administration, accounting and management of customer retros, this includes deputising for the customer retro manager and ongoing maintenance of rebate related master data in our pricing and rebate software. The role is ideal for anyone who is studying as it covers balance sheet control, P&L analysis, business partnering, master data management, amongst many other areas that will link with and compliment their learning. This is an exciting time to join the team as we are rolling out some technology and process changes in the coming months and this role will be at the forefront of such change.

• Monthly reconciliation of retro debtors and creditors to nominal ledger and liaising with internal and external auditors
• Creation of invoice back up and reconciliations of complex income/payment agreements
• To provide high quality insight to customer performance against contractual targets and ensure integrity over balance sheet position
• Running retros month end processes
• Prepare meaningful analysis of retros out month end accounts
• Working closely with the Sales Team and commercial finance to report on all areas of Customer retros and provide information for decision making
• Liaising directly with suppliers and sales force to resolve issues
• Continuous improvement of retro processes
• Assist with the coaching and development of members of Retro Team
• Able to deputise for the Retro sub team managers
• Assist the Retro Managers as directed with project work and ad hoc tasks

• Previous experience of working in a finance department and undertaking balance sheet reconciliations is essential
