Accounts Assistant - Record to Report

Pendragon Head Office - Hybrid working with flexibility to work from home 2 days per week

Are you passionate about finance and looking to develop your career as an Accounts Assistant?

Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking talented individuals to join our processing teams at our Finance Shared Service Centre. You'll be part of a dynamic team supporting our nationwide network of retailers, with opportunities for career development.

As an Accounts Assistant, your responsibilities will include managing Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control, and cashiering duties. You will work physically from Head Office three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for two days.

We are committed to providing an excellent customer experience both online and across our dealerships and are looking for someone eager to make an impact and contribute to our growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with processing bonus and warranty documents against ledger balances
  • Review and analyze information from bonus and warranty ledgers for accuracy, taking corrective actions as needed
  • Raise queries with manufacturers to resolve aged debt items
  • Conduct write-offs following company policy after investigations
  • Reconcile bonus nominal ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies
  • Provide excellent customer service to dealerships and manufacturers, responding to calls and emails efficiently

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in an accounts department, with a good understanding of accounting principles
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of ERP systems is desirable
