Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant/Purchase Ledger Clerk looking for a progressive opportunity? As an Accounts Assistant/Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will receive a basic salary up to £28,000 plus bonus & incentives. This is a progressive office-based role in Ollerton (NG22 9FD).
As an Accounts Assistant/Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for:
Purchase ledger invoice processing
Supplier statement reconciliations
Support collation and preparation of supplier payment runs
Payment processing and allocations
Assist with bank reconciliations
Answer and direct internal and external phone calls in a polite and professional manner
Write and distribute business emails, correspondence memos, letters, and forms
Assist in the preparation of regular and ad-hoc scheduled reports
Support and maintain an efficient filing system
Comply with all other reasonable requests made
We are keen to speak with Accounts Assistant/Purchase Ledger Clerk candidates with the following:
Extensive experience in transactional accounting processes/systems and reconciliations
Exposure to SAGE systems
Computer literate and proficient in MS Office (Inc. Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint)
Excellent administration and organisational skills
Good attention to detail
Excellent Customer Service skills - internal and external customers
Good communication skills with a confident, professional telephone manner
Proactive and flexible approach with a 'can do' attitude
An ability to effectively work under pressure and solve problems
Punctual, committed, and eager to learn
As an Accounts Assistant/Purchase Ledger Clerk you will receive:
Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
