Accounts Assistant - PART-TIME - Basingstoke

Salary: £26K PA Pro rata - 5 month FTC

Job Title: Accounts Assistant (Part-Time)

Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire

Type: Maternity cover a fixed-term contract of 5 months.

Hours: 20 hours per week, working either 5 hours per day, 4 days per week, or 4 hours per day, working 5 days per week. Flexibility on when the hours are worked.

Duties:
  1. Processing supplier invoices via our purchase ledger
  2. Reconciling our business bank account
  3. Raising cheques
  4. Processing debit card payments
  5. Processing our credit card statements
  6. Working with Excel spreadsheets
  7. Dealing with accounts enquiries - internally and with clients and suppliers
  8. Managing the petty cash
  9. Settling supplier invoices by BACS
Experience Required:
  1. Experience as an all-round Accounts Assistant
  2. Able to prioritise your work
  3. Enthusiastic and willing to assist other members of the team
