Job Description

Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to work for a well-established company based in the Horsham, West Sussex area. The Accounts Assistant will be supporting with the everyday accounting duties such as credit control, processing invoices, dealing with finance queries, payments, etc.

Salary: £27K

Hours: 8am - 5pm Mon - Fri

Location: Horsham, West Sussex

Note: Due to the rural location, own transport is required.

Accounts Assistant duties:

  • Processing invoices - accounts payable, purchase ordering, supplier payments, remittances, matching POs, etc.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Credit control
  • Monitoring the accounts inbox
  • Supporting with the payment runs

Skills and experience required:
  • Proven experience of working in an Accounts Assistant, Accounts Payable, Credit Control, or Finance support type role
  • Excellent MS Excel skills required
  • Good communication skills both verbally and in writing
