MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with an established and growing Practice located in Belfast, looking to recruit for a Accounts Assistant Manager/Manager on a full time, permanent basis.

Job Duties of the Accounts Assistant Manager/Manager include:

  • Accounts Manager / Assistant Manager position
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, focusing on statutory and management accounts
  • Oversee and support a team; mentor junior staff and assist with training
  • Review accounts, VAT returns, and other compliance work
  • Clients primarily limited companies, based in Northern Ireland with some UK-wide clients

What you need to be the Accounts Assistant Manager/Manager

  • ACA / ACCA qualified (newly qualified and above)
  • Qualified by experience (QBE) also considered
  • Ideally from a practice background
  • Confident in identifying and raising issues with clients proactively
  • Experience managing a portfolio of clients
  • Skilled in reviewing work of junior team members
  • Open to candidates with mixed audit and accounts experience
