Are you an Accounts Supervisor or Assistant Manager wanting to work with an exciting portfolio of media and entertainment clients? Do you want to work for an international firm that offers great opportunities for progression?

Our client is arguably the West End+rsquo;s premier accounting firm and a leading name in the music industry. A Top 60 accountancy firm with fantastic offices a short walk from Oxford Circus, the firm boasts a corporate client base with turnovers up to +pound;350m as well as representing some of the most well-known names in the music, media, retail and hospitality sectors. A fun and vibrant place to work, this firm feels less like a firm of chartered accountants and more akin to a bustling West End creative business.

Responsibilities
  • Managing the day-to-day bookkeeping, financial reporting, payments, and budgeting for clients within the Media and Entertainment industry
  • Working successfully with the team managers and partners to ensure that all statutory deadlines and requirements for accounts, tax, VAT are met
  • Preparing year end account files using resources available and assisting with gathering the relevant information to complete P11Ds, company, personal and partnership returns to ensure the timely filing and payment of client compliance
  • Working on tour accounting and preparing show budget vs actual analysis
  • Reviewing show settlements with monies received and costs incurred. Requiring knowledge of VAT, FEU, Foreign taxes etc
  • Preparing and reviewing VAT returns for manager/partner sign off and client approval
  • Managing all receivables, payables and assisting with the maintenance and review of accounting records raising issues to relevant Managers
Qualifications
  • Be ACA or ACCA Qualified
  • Have over 18 months+rsquo; post-qualified experience of reviewing accounts preparation assignments
  • Be the first point of contact for a portfolio of accounts clients
  • Demonstrate the ability to supervise and develop a team of staff
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of, or passion for, the creative sector
