Job summary

Clark Wood are working with a well-established independent firm of accountants in Hatfield who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant Manager to join their team.

You will work closely with the senior team, handle a varied portfolio, deliver accounts and tax work, review work, and support junior staff. ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified or qualified by experience with strong client relationships and technical skills, with ambition to progress to Client Manager.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience, with good experience in an accountancy practice.
• Role involves preparing and reviewing accounts and tax returns, and managing client queries.
• Opportunity to progress to Client Manager as experience grows.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing accounts and tax returns.
• Managing a portfolio of clients and dealing with day-to-day queries.
• Building strong relationships with clients.
• Reviewing work and supporting junior team members.
• Assisting with more complex assignments and advisory work.
• Supporting the continued growth and development of the practice.
