A leading industrial manufacturer is seeking an Accounts Assistant for their Ross-on-Wye office. The role involves budget planning, head office accounting, and managing quality claims workflows. Ideal candidates will have an accounts background and ideally be AAT or ACCA part qualified. This position offers a salary of £28,000 - £30,000, hybrid working options, and excellent benefits including 32 days holiday and flexible hours.
Accounts Assistant sought by an industrial manufacturer, in their Ross-on-Wye office. With multiple locations across the globe, the company supplies to a range of industries including construction, aerospace, automotive and many more.
Known formally within the business as Management Accountant, this is a permanent, full-time role based in Ross-on-Wye with 50% hybrid available after probation and flexible working from day one (core hours 10am-3pm).
The Role:
As an Accounts Assistant your duties will include:
- Budget planning and coordination
- Head office accounting and reporting
- Divisional accounting and reporting
- Intercompany recharge management
- Participation in Cost Centre Committee meetings
- Analysis and approval of quality claims
- Control of quality claims workflows
The successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- An Accounts background
- Ideally AAT or ACCA part qualified (or equivalent)
- An organised and analytical approach that enables you to deliver results and meet deadlines with a high level of accuracy
- Computer literacy in all MS Office applications
- Working knowledge of SAP would be advantageous
- Comfortable working in a small team
This role would be suitable for a recent graduate or junior Accounts professional with some commercial experience.
