Llantwit Major (Brand New Office!) | £25,000 - £26,000 (Up to £28,000 for AAT Level 4 Qualified)
Full Time | Hybrid (2 days WFH after 6-month probation)

Join a dynamic and forward-thinking accountancy practice at our brand new office in Llantwit Major. We're looking for a motivated Accounts Assistant to support our growing team and contribute to the excellent service we provide to a wide-ranging client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts

  • Bookkeeping and VAT returns for a varied client portfolio

  • Purchase and sales ledger processing

  • Bank reconciliations and journal postings

  • Client communication and administrative support

Who We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in an accountancy practice is highly desirable

  • Familiarity with accounting software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, etc.)

  • A proactive, detail-focused mindset and willingness to learn

  • AAT qualification preferred - salary rises to £28,000 for Level 4

  • Strong communication and organisational skills
