Hutcheon Mearns is delighted to partner with our client in their search for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will support the Finance Manager as they begin to implement a new commercial growth plans. The position is based in Haddington, East Lothian.
Our client operates across Scotland and partners with some of the most recognised global brands. Following significant growth over recent years, they are continuing their ambitious plans to further strengthen their position in the market.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Processing sales invoices
- Bank reconciliation
- Accruals, prepayments, and journals
- Assisting with payroll
- Maintaining the finance mailbox
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an office environment, ideally within an Accounts Assistant role working across AP and AR with some experience with UK Payroll. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with finance systems is essential.
The Accounts Assistant role offers the following package:
- £30,000 – £35,000 per annum
