Axon Moore are partnering with a market-leading company in Clitheroe to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. You will support day-to-day financial activities and have opportunities to take on more responsibility as you progress.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years working in a similar role.
• Preferably studying for AAT/ACCA/CIMA.
• Confident speaking to managers/external suppliers.
• Conscientious with an eye for detail.
• Willingness to learn and improve.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate completion of payments.
• Accurate entry of payments on accounting system.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Completion of supplier statement reconciliations.
• Accruals and prepayments.
• Assist Finance Team with month and year end process.
• Liaise with Senior Managers for payment authorisation.
• Liaise with external suppliers on invoice and payment queries.
• Ad hoc duties.
