Job summary

Three Bridges Recruitment is working with a leading not-for-profit organisation in Edinburgh who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to support day-to-day donation processing and frontline customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic finance experience who is looking to grow their skills within a supportive, values-led environment.

You will begin primarily office-based in Edinburgh, with close support and the option to transition to hybrid working after probation.

Qualifications

• Basic finance experience or administrative/customer service background is desirable.
• Strong communication and empathy are essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Process donations and payments accurately.
• Manage weekly payment runs for approval.
• Review purchase ledgers and perform reconciliations.
• Resolve queries in a warm, professional manner.
• Create and update database records.
• Assist with administrative tasks and stakeholder communication.
• Handle financial transactions and support finance queries.
• Filing, scanning and general administration.
