Three Bridges Recruitment is supporting a charitable Edinburgh organisation by recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a 6-month temporary period. You will join a five-person finance team and handle donations, payments, and ledger reconciliations while providing friendly, accurate financial support.

Qualifications

• Basic finance experience or administration or customer service.
• Strong communication and empathy.
• Attention to detail and organized.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a finance role.

Responsibilities

• Process donations and payments with accuracy and care.
• Manage weekly payment runs for approval.
• Review purchase ledger statements and carry out reconciliations.
• Resolve queries in a warm, empathetic and professional manner.
• Create and update database records.
• Support administrative tasks including letters and stakeholder communication.
• Handle financial transaction processing.
• Assist wider team with finance queries.
• File, scan and general administration.
