Job description

Leading manufacturing are looking to recruit an AAT Qualified Accountantto join their fast growing Accounts Department. Reporting to an ex Big 4 Finance Director which will provide the succesful candidate with a great stepping stone to develop their career and pursue further qualifications.

Duties will include :

• Responsible for the accounts function for the business
• Production of month management accounts
• Cash flow forecasting
• VAT preparation - important to note that the VAT has big implications due to the different countries they trade with - some are VAT exempt others may have different rates
• Purchase and sales ledger reconcilliations
• AD hoc project work to support the finance team

You will have excellent IT Skills including strong Excel skills (Pivots / Look Ups) as well as SAGE. As you will be liasing with non - finance stakeholders in the business strong communication skills are a pre requisite.
