Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Location: Bamber Bridge, UK

Salary: 26,000 - 28,000 per annum

We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our clients dynamic team based in Bamber Bridge. As an integral part of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reconciliations, supporting the financial reporting process, and assisting with various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the finance team as needed.

Requirements:

  • AAT Level 3
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a finance or accounting department.
  • Strong knowledge of reconciliations and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
