Responsibilities and Duties

• Process bank reconciliations within agreed timeframes • Accurately process invoices and maintain supporting documentation • Analyse financial data to identify transactional discrepancies and inconsistencies • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial

reporting • Record and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable • Assist in the preparation of financial statements • Accurately record financial transactions in the system • Support the purchase ledger function • Respond to customer queries via email or telephone, providing a high standard of

customer service

Working Week

Core working hours will be 40 hours per week from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

• Ability to work as part of a team • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal • Uses own initiative and is self-motivated • GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths • Interest in Finance and Accounting • Hardworking and eager to learn

Training Information

Training will be with Swarm Training, a national apprenticeship provider in the UK. The successful candidate will work towards a Level 2 Finance qualification, which takes 12-18 months to complete. The apprentice must complete a minimum of 6 hours per week during working hours, with monthly training sessions conducted by a tutor, with tasks assigned to be completed during those hours.
