About Our Client
An opportunity to join a growing, small team based in Wellington with very hands-on Directors working with diverse industry clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Clients range from small sole traders to companies with turnovers in the millions. Services include year-end accounts, tax (corporate and personal), VAT, management accounts, bookkeeping, and payroll. The firm uses IRIS, SAGE, Xero, Quickbooks, and other online accounting software.
Job Description
You will join as an Accounts/Tax Semi Senior or AAT Technician, with responsibilities including accounts preparation, tax, management accounts, VAT, bookkeeping, and payroll. The role offers opportunities for technical development and career progression, with support for further qualifications.
The Successful Applicant
Applicants may be AAT qualified, studying for Level 3 or 4, or experienced professionals pursuing ACCA or other qualifications. Candidates should have 2+ years of experience in an accountancy practice, with skills in accounts, tax, VAT, bookkeeping, or payroll. The firm values long-term team members and offers study support.
What's on Offer
