Job summary

Brian Nuttgens Accountants Ltd in Leigh on Sea is seeking an experienced accounts assistant with a solid bookkeeping background. You will handle VAT and quarterly MTD returns, and support the preparation of Self Assessment tax returns and year-end accounts.

Qualifications

• Must be AAT qualified with MAAT/FMAAT status.
• Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage 50, QuickBooks and Xero.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical skills with a problem solving mindset.
