Job summary

JMC Aviation Limited is seeking an Accounts Assistant on a 12-month fixed term maternity cover. The role runs Monday to Friday, with hours 08:30–17:00 and Fridays 08:30–14:30, and sits within the finance team.

Key duties include processing supplier invoices, payments, and month-end journals, with exposure to Contina Document Management and supplier/customer ledgers. A qualification with CIMA/ACCA and 1–3 years accounting experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Qualified member of an accountancy body such as CIMA or ACCA
• 1-3 years’ experience in accounting
• Educated to degree level or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and manage supplier queries
• Process payments in the bank
• Manage Continia Document Management
• Assist with customer management and sales analysis
• Month-end processing of accruals and prepayments
• Support with other finance tasks (bank allocations, Mailboxes)
