Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join our newly acquired Lloyd Jaguar Land Rover site in Stockton.

This is a fantastic chance to be part of a fresh chapter in our business, supporting the finance function as we integrate the dealership into the wider Lloyd Motor Group.

Role responsibilities
  • Checking and re-allocating nominal postings
  • Coding of Purchase Invoices
  • Credit Control
  • Completing and checking of mileage logs
  • Ledger Maintenance - ensuring Sales and Purchase Ledgers are tidy
  • Initiating Monthly Run and paying Inter Company Accounts
  • Checking and allocating Manufacturer commission
  • Stock counts
  • Responsible for Petty Cash
  • Daily Banking
The ideal candidate
  • General accounts experience which may include one of the following:
  • Sales & Purchase Ledger
  • Credit Control
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • IT Literate
  • General office / administration experience
  • Effective time management and attention to detail
  • AAT qualification would be desirable but not essential
  • Experience of working in the motor industry and knowledge of Kerridge would be desirable, but not essential, as full training will be given
