About the role

Bentley Birmingham has a fantastic opportunity available for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.

As an Accounts Assistant, you will support the day-to-day functions of the accounts department, including sales and purchase ledgers, daily cash postings, and bank reconciliations. You will also assist the Dealership Accountant and Management team with other ad-hoc duties as required.

Working hours: Accounts Assistants work flexible patterns from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts for stock taking and similar events.

About You

Applicants should have previous experience and a good working knowledge of accounting routines, including stock checks and month-end reconciliations. Knowledge of the CDK/Kerridge Dealer Management system and Microsoft Office is advantageous but not essential.

You should be enthusiastic, well-organised, diligent, and capable of working under strict deadlines while paying attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team is essential.

Please note that candidates must have experience within an accounting role as a minimum requirement.
