  • Process supplier invoices and payments.
  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare journals, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Support with VAT returns and other statutory reporting.
  • Assist with balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Provide support during audits and year-end processes.
  • Carry out ad hoc finance admin and project work as required.

I am currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant for my client an ambitious SME in Swindon. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will join a friendly team. This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys getting involved in all areas of the finance function-from transactional processing through to supporting the month-end close.

About the Job:

  • Maintain and reconcile sales and purchase ledgers
