Interim Accounts Assistant - Temporary Placement
We are seeking an experienced Interim Accounts Assistant to support a busy finance team during a period of leave offering 16-24 hours per week, with some flexibility around working days and hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the purchase ledger confidently and efficiently
Posting bank transactions onto Sage 50 Accounts (transactions downloaded by the Financial Controller)
Performing basic bank reconciliations
Supporting the team with day-to-day finance operations as needed
Using basic Excel functions to assist with reporting and data entry
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proficient in Sage 50 Accounts
Previous experience in a similar finance role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good working knowledge of Excel (basic formulas, data entry)
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
