ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

Duties

You will be at the very start of your accountancy career and will assist with practice and client administration tasks whilst learning on-the-job as well as studying towards your AAT qualification. Your duties will include:

  • Assist client and practice administration tasks
  • Assist with bookkeeping and accounts preparation work
  • Chase up missing information on a regular basis
  • Create and maintain accurate client records on our CRM system
  • Contribute to the improvement of our internal processes
  • Build great relationships with colleagues and clients

DUTIES

  • Administrative tasks to support the practice
  • Assisting and learning from existing accountants – tasks such as bookkeeping, accounts preparation, payroll, VAT and tax preparation
  • Maintain internal client database/CRM system
  • Internal progress assessments

WORKING HOURS PER WEEK

35 hours per week. Monday - Friday 9am tio 5pm. 1 hour lunch (unpaid)

Required Skills
