Location: Sheffield Ford & BYD

Contract Type: Permanent, full-time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8.30am to 5pm

Salary: £24,250 - £26,250 per annum (depending on experience)

We're excited to be on the lookout for an Accounts Assistant to join our experienced Accounts team at our Sheffield office on a permanent basis. In this role, you will support the processing of purchase orders for our dealership, so accuracy and attention to detail are key.

Responsibilities
  • Inputting Purchase Ledger Invoices
  • Liaising with management regarding invoice authorization
  • Processing supplier invoices and credits daily
  • Resolving queries with suppliers
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • General administrative duties
  • Managing daily banking and processing incoming payments from departments
  • Handling BACS transfer requests
  • Processing warranty payments from the manufacturer
Experience / Essential Skills

You will have a keen eye for detail, maintaining accurate records. Being organized will be second nature, and you will thrive under pressure, prioritizing workload and showing initiative to improve procedures. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is discretion when handling sensitive information.

Prior experience in a busy accounts or finance department is essential. Some understanding of the automotive industry is desirable but not required, as full training will be provided. Flexibility during busy periods or holiday cover is also necessary.
