Accounts Assistant - Reading West - 8 month FTC - Circa £33,000 - Hybrid

I am currently working with a leading business based in Reading who require an Accounts Assistant on an 8-month FTC. This is a varied role working in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Key Duties

1. Downloading bank statements
2. Preparation of weekly cashbooks
3. Balance sheet reconciliations
4. Reconciling bank transactions
5. Preparation of monthly cashbook journals
6. Assisting with month-end processes
7. Reviewing intercompany transactions
8. Preparation of month-end journals
9. Raising payments

Attitude & Skills

• Strong attention to detail and accurate input
• A working knowledge of month-end routines and timings
• Exposure to multi-currencies
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong Excel and IT skills
