ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT / BOOKKEEPER

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to join our team in Perth. This role sits within our Client Accounting Division and involves providing high-quality bookkeeping and payroll support to a wide range of clients.

Key Responsibilities

As part of your role, you will be responsible for a range of client-focused accounting duties, including:

  • Processing client bookkeeping and completing all reconciliations
  • Managing supplier invoice payments
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Administering client payroll, including:
  • HMRC reporting
  • Pension compliance
  • Year-end reporting
  • Preparing P11Ds
  • Producing monthly cashflow reports
  • Liaising with Land Agents and clients
  • Performing other related administrative and accounting tasks as required

Skills & Experience

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Previous bookkeeping experience (essential)
  • Knowledge of VAT Partial Exemption (desirable)
  • Experience with Xero and payroll, or a relevant qualification (advantageous, but full training provided)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (essential)
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills

This is a full-time position but applications would be considered on a part-time basis. The role is office based from Perth.
