Accounts Assistant - Nr Newquay

Trial Balance Consulting has been exclusively engaged to assist an innovative hospitality business based on the outskirts of Newquay. The company has experienced phenomenal growth and is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to ensure the smooth running of various accounting functions. This is a full-time or part-time, permanent role with a salary range of £22,000 to £25,000.

Role responsibilities include:

1. Assist with accounts payable and receivable
2. Perform bank reconciliations
3. Monitor aged debtors
4. Input and maintain data on Sage-based accounting platform

We seek a candidate with at least 18 months of recent finance experience, ideally covering the full accounting function. Candidates can be either AAT qualified or qualified by experience, with good IT skills, preferably in Sage. The role operates within a busy, friendly, and fast-paced department where excellent communication skills are essential.
