Accounts Assistant – Manchester Area

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team in Manchester.

Salary: 26,000 – 32,000

Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 8.30am to 5.00pm or 9am to 5.30pm (30-minute lunch)

The role of the Accounts Assistant is to support the accountant and the wider management team.

1. Focus on bank and balance sheet reconciliations, requiring a high degree of accuracy and numerical ability.
2. Processing daily cash and card takings, and assisting with the sales ledger and purchase ledger to ensure smooth operations.
3. Contribute to a busy motor retail business as an integral part of the accounting team, bringing enthusiasm and a good work ethic.

Experience in a motor trade accounts role is preferable.
