At the core of the club’s philosophy, is the Birley family’s traditions of style and elegance with a team that consistently deliver personal exceptional service to the club's members and their guests.

Established in 2018, Oswald’s, also based in Mayfair, London, is the other social club in the group’s current portfolio.

Other group businesses include Birley Sandwiches, comprising 10 stores across the City and Canary Wharf, as well as Birley Homeware and Birley Bakery.

We are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance Team.

The Responsibilities Of Our Accounts Assistant Are

  • Receiving, verifying, and processing supplier invoices accurately and promptly.
  • Supporting with the preparation of payment runs to ensure timely settlement.
  • Maintaining effective communication with suppliers and resolving issues.
  • Reconciling ledgers.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline the Account Payable processes.

The Experience & Qualifications required of our Accounts Assistant are:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
  • Proactive, strong communication skills and telephone manner
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in English, both oral and written.

Proficiency in using billing software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.

The Working Hours

  • Monday - Friday
  • 1 day working from home

The club is closed Bank Holidays and throughout Christmas each year.
