Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Process and prepare invoices, payments, and expense reports.
  • Maintain and update financial spreadsheets and databases.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and month-end reporting.
  • Ensure supplier records and databases are kept up to date.
  • Posting and reconciliation of Credit Card statements.
  • Chase any receipts not received.
  • Provide general assistance to the finance team.
  • Carry out ad hoc tasks as required.

Job description

Accounts Assistant

Please note that this is an office based role. Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. There is no work from home.

We are looking for an experienced, detail orientated and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our small friendly team in North West London.

Joining the team as a Finance Assistant, you will be carrying out varied administration duties including:

  • Process and prepare invoices, payments, and expense reports
  • Maintain and update financial spreadsheets and databases
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and month-end reporting
  • Ensure supplier records and databases are kept up to date
  • Posting and reconciliation of Credit Card statements
  • Regularly chasing any receipts not received for submitted expenses or credit cards
  • Providing general assistance to the finance team - covering for absences within the team
  • Ad hoc tasks as required by the business
To be successful in the role of Finance Assistant, you will need to have at least some previous experience in a similar role. You will also require:

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills and be willing to learn
  • Excellent work ethic, honest and diligent
  • Clean DBS check will be required.
