Job summary

Blusource Recruitment in North Leicestershire is urgently seeking an experienced Accounts & Reconciliations Assistant for an immediate start on a 3-6 month temporary contract. You will join a busy finance team, handling supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliation tasks, with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.

Onsite five days a week, you will contribute to smooth day-to-day financial operations. Ideal candidates will have experience in transactional finance and proficiency in Excel,

Blusource Recruitment is working with an established business in North Leicestershire that is looking to bring an experienced Accounts & Reconciliations Assistant into its finance team on an urgent temporary basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in transactional finance who is immediately available and looking for their next assignment.

The contract is expected to last between three and six months, and the business is keen to get someone started as soon as possible.

The Role

You'll be joining a busy finance function and providing practical, hands-on support across a range of accounting and administrative responsibilities.

Your duties will include:

• Processing and entering supplier invoices
• Responding to finance-related emails and queries
• Processing payments and supporting day-to-day transactions
• Assisting with accounts and reconciliation activities
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Filing, archiving and general finance administration
• Supporting the wider finance team wherever required

About You

We're looking for someone who has previous experience working within an accounts or transactional finance position and can quickly become a useful member of the team.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Previous experience in accounts payable, accounts administration or a similar finance position
• Good working knowledge of Excel, ideally to an intermediate level
• Experience using accounting or finance software
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills

You don't need to be a qualified accountant, but you will need enough previous finance experience to pick things up without extensive training.
