Qualifications

  • Experience in finance roles such as Accounts Assistant or Finance Administrator.

  • Handle accounts queries, statement reconciliations, and liaise with other departments.

A great new opportunity has arisen to join our Finance Team. You will report to the Management Accountant and be responsible for the Purchase / Sales Ledger function and supporting the finance department so we can effectively serve our members.

Key Tasks of Accounts Assistants:
  • Purchase ledger processing
  • Sales ledger processing
  • Collate and organise payment runs
  • Payment allocation
  • Claims payment processing
  • Credit control
  • Other Administration tasks as required
  • Handling Accounts Queries
  • Statement Reconciliations
  • Liaising with other departments via phone and Teams
  • Checking and actioning emails in the Accounts inbox
  • Filing and ad hoc duties as needed
  • Good IT skills and a working understanding of Excel
Candidate Requirements:
  • Ideally AAT qualified
  • Sage experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Can-do attitude
  • Numerate
  • Strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Office
  • Strong organisation and communication skills
  • Comfortable with Debits and Credits concepts
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
