A leading special education provider in Kendal is looking for a Finance Officer to support the finance function through reporting costs and managing purchase ledger transactions. You will have experience in finance and data input, alongside intermediate Excel skills. The position offers a base salary of £26,000 - £28,000, along with 7 weeks’ holiday and a flexible benefits package.

This is a varied role that sits at the heart of our Group Finance function, supporting the direct and wider team. Day to day, you'll be reporting costs and managing purchase ledger transactions, including the use of the Group’s purchase order system. With the chance to help review finances for individual homes and schools, you'll have opportunities to learn and develop your expertise. As a Finance Officer, you’ll have worked in a Finance team before and already have some experience inputting data, preparing management accounts, and working with Excel.

Salary: Base salary of between £26,000 - £28,000
