Job description

Accounts Assistant

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £26,500 per annum + fantastic benefits

Location: Inverness, IV2 7GG

Our award-winning client has a new opportunity within their accounts team in their Inverness office. In this varied role, you will assist with the day-to-day accounting of 240 care homes and hospitals, ensuring the timely processing and review of financial transactions.

NEED TO HAVE:

  1. Basic understanding of accounts and accounting systems
  2. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  3. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  5. Proven ability to work to deadlines

NEED TO DO:

  1. Timely and accurate processing of invoices into the accounting system, ensuring appropriate authorisations and checks have been received
  2. Reconcile statements and accounts
  3. Process and record transactions
  4. Manage and review queries
