Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join our client's finance team and support the Accounts Manager in ensuring smooth and accurate purchase ledger and credit control operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and posting purchase invoices and credit notes accurately.
  • Assisting with credit control by raising chase letters and liaising with client accounts teams.
  • Maintaining up-to-date debtor and creditor lists.
  • Posting payments and receipts into the accounting system promptly.
  • Supporting daily accounts tasks to meet deadlines set by the Accounts Manager.
  • Handling occasional payments, including VAT and credit card transactions.
  • Providing cover for colleagues when necessary.
  • Assisting with office housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Skills & Qualities We're Looking For:
  • Excellent organisational skills with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Good computer literacy and the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • A reliable team player with a positive attitude toward maintaining a tidy and safe workplace.
