We're working with a well-established and supportive business that's on the lookout for a motivated Accounts Assistant to join their finance team in Chessington. Whether you've recently finished your studies, are in the early stages of your career, or thinking about a change in direction, this role offers the chance to learn, grow, and build a long-term future in accounts.

  4. Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (1 hour lunch break)
  5. Competitive salary of £22,000 - £25,000pa (depending on experience)
  6. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

What you'll be doing:
  1. Code & input Sales & Purchase Ledger invoices
  2. Process Engineers timesheets
  3. Produce Sales Invoices both on Job Logic & Excel
  4. Upload Sales Invoices to various portals
  5. Reconcile Creditor Statements & Prepare Monthly Creditor Payments
  6. Keep various accounting records up to date i.e. vehicle allocation
  7. Assist in preparation of Annual Audit Schedules
  8. General assistance with tasks to facilitate the smooth operation of the department

What we're looking for:
  1. A genuine interest in building a career in accounts
  2. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
  3. Good communication and organisational skills
  4. Basic Excel skills (don't worry - you'll learn more on the job)
  5. Ideally some admin or office experience, but not essential
