A leading department store group in Greater London seeks a finance assistant for a temporary 4-month role in their Central Finance Department. Responsibilities include sales and purchase ledger management, bank reconciliations, cash processing, and generating financial reports. Candidates must have a strong attention to detail and experience with Excel.
Our client is an independent, privately-owned department store group operating 7 stores primarily in Greater London, along with an Ecommerce platform. Our stores are central to local communities and boast centuries of heritage, brand trust, and customer loyalty—values we embody both in-store and through our communications.
The role is based in the Central Finance Department at our Merton-based Head Office and is expected to last approximately 4 months.
Experience with Excel and strong attention to detail are required.
